Testimony

I first went to see Doctor Bohbot in Novembre 2001. It was a consultation to see if Doctor Bohbot would take me on as a patient. I am a T12 incomplete SCI with neurology condition but no diagnosis.

Doctor Bohbot studied my medical notes and said he would take me on, he wouldn't stand me on the first visit because I hadn't stood for nearly four years. The Doctor said if I stood I could do more damage to my pelvis, he recommended when I went back to England I get a special X-ray to see how my pelvis was holding up, to see if I had any deterioration.

As it was I had started to deteriorate, my own GP gave me medication to help. I went to see Doctor Bohbot the following April, he soon had me standing, only for a few minutes, then as the two weeks went by, I was standing for fifteen minutes or so, I felt wonderful to be standing again.

I carried on going back to the Clinic as and when we could afford it. After a couple of visits I bought some callipers in France and practice my walking as much as possible, I still practice when I can with help from my wife.

Without Doctor Bohbot and his treatment, I would never even think of walking, in England they said I had zero tolerance in my legs, and after a year they gave up working with me.

I don't know where I would be now if I hadn't been going to France to see Doctor Bohbot to have treatment and meet other people with similar injuries.
